Slewing Bearing

The slewing bearing is also called "turntable bearing" because its shape resembles a plate, usually with a diameter ranging from 0.2 to 10 meters. It is a large bearing that can withstand axial and radial loads and overturning moments. The slewing ring bearing is composed of mounting holes, inner gear ring or outer gear ring, spacer block, cage, lubricating oil hole, and sealing device, so it can make the design of the main engine compact, easy to guide, and easy to maintain.

Classification of Slewing Bearings

(1) Single row cross roller slewing

The single row cross roller slewing bearing consists of two races, with compact structure, high manufacturing accuracy, small assembly clearance, and high requirements for installation accuracy. Overturning moment and large radial force are widely used in transportation, construction machinery, and products.

(2) Three-row roller slewing bearing

The three-row roller slewing bearing has three races, and the upper, lower, and radial raceways are separated so that the load of each row of rollers can be accurately determined. The axial and radial dimensions are large, and the structure is firm. It can bear various burdens at the same time and is the one with the most significant bearing capacity among the four products. (3) Single row four-point contact ball slewing bearing

The single row four-point contact ball slewing bearing is composed of two races with a compact structure, and the steel ball contacts the arc raceway at four points. They are mainly used in truck cranes, tower cranes, excavators, pile drivers, engineering vehicles, radar scanning equipment, and other machines subjected to overturning moment, vertical axial force, and horizontal inclination force.

(4) Double row ball slewing bearing

The double row ball slewing bearing has three races, and the steel balls and spacers can be directly discharged into the upper and lower raceways. Under stress conditions, two rows of steel balls with different diameters are arranged. This kind of open assembly is very convenient, and the bearing angle of the upper and lower arc raceways is 90°, which can bear a considerable axial force and tipping moment. The raceway must be specially designed when the radial force is more significant than 0.1 times the axial force. The axial and radial dimensions of the double-row ball slewing bearing are relatively large, and the structure is tight. It is especially suitable for loading and unloading machinery such as tower and truck cranes requiring medium or larger diameters.

(5) Light series slewing bearing
