K23-442/443 electric brake The 12-1/4 "x 5" driver side electric trailer brake assembly is suitable for a 12000 pound axle. Install the flange using a 7-bolt pattern. Self adjusting brakes require almost no maintenance. Suitable for wheels 15 inches or larger.

How to test trailer brake magnets Visual inspection steps: If any coil can be seen in the center of the magnet, it indicates that the magnet is worn and should be replaced 2. Take a straight edge tool and place it horizontally on top of the magnet. The edge of the magnet should always be parallel to the straight edge. Any pitting or changes on the surface of the magnet indicate abnormal wear and should be replaced. 3. Check the magnet for any grease or oil residue, and if so, replace the magnet. Testing: A multimeter capable of reading amperes and ohms is required to test the trailer brake magnet. You can also use the ever power supply because it has built-in testing functions. To test with a multimeter, you need to connect a Ammeter to the blue wire on the back of the brake controller, or use the diagnostic readings of the brake controller. If the current intensity is greater than the specified value (see table below), please replace one or more magnets. If the reading is less than the specified value, it indicates that the wire is damaged and one or more magnets should be replaced.
