Snake coupling is composed of several groups of serpentine spring around the teeth of two half couplings to transmit motion and power. Outside sealing shell prevent the spring to be swung out under the centrifugal force, the shell contains lubricating oil which lubricates between the spring and tooth surface, avoiding dry friction.
Snake coupling has the advantages of compact structure, small size and reliability, and it has a certain compensation for relative displacement axially and cushioning performance. The products are widely used in various industrial fields for median and high power shaft transmission.
