7 Matters Needing Attention in the Assembly of Taper Sleeve Pulley
The taper sleeve pulley is a new type of mechanical transmission connecting component commonly used in European and American countries. The 8-degree outer cone is closely connected with the inner cone of the belt pulley, greatly improving the centering accuracy of the transmission components. Tapered sleeve dimensions are standard series designs. The internal hole keyway is processed according to ISO standard. Versatility and interchangeability are very good, suitable for various occasions. Prolonged operation of transmission components may damage the inner bore and chain grooves. Tapered sleeves of precise specifications can be used again. Therefore, the service life of the transmission parts is greatly increased, the maintenance cost is reduced, and the time is saved.1. Before and after the belt pulley is assembled, gasoline must be used to ensure that all parts are clean and dry, and that the mating surface is closely matched without oil stains and has sufficient friction.
2. Hexagon socket head bolts for assembly shall also be cleaned and dried with gasoline before assembly. Do not apply lubricating oil or grease to the bolt or screw hole to ensure that the bolt has sufficient friction self-locking capacity after fastening.
3. When the three hexagon socket head bolts are about to be installed, they need to be tightened in sequence to ensure that the conical sleeve is subjected to uniform axial force, and the belt pulley and conical sleeve are well placed on the same axis.
4. Before installation, check and measure the length of the hexagonal socket bolt for assembly to ensure that the assembly bolt can bear the bottom end of the blind hole of the conical sleeve after being tightened, to ensure that the conical surface is closely matched, and to ensure that the bolt is subject to reverse thrust at the bottom of the blind hole, so that the anti loosening effect of the double nut principle is the same.
5. After the belt pulley is tightened, check and adjust the relative positions of the driving and driven belt pulleys by pulling wires to ensure that the two belt pulleys are on the same plane and the belt tension is moderate.
6. The pulley cover shall be intact and firmly installed to ensure that the belt is broken or the pulley is loose and withdrawn during operation, thus leading to major safety accidents.
7. The conical sleeve is a wearing part. Inspection shall be carried out before each assembly. If any defect is found, spare parts shall be replaced in time. The inner bore and the chain groove may be damaged after prolonged operation.
